Honeywell Sensing and Productivity Solutions MICRO SWITCH™ ZM series standard miniature basic switches are precision snap-action mechanisms enclosed in accurately molded plastic cases. Each switch contains a spring and set of contacts that convert mechanical energy applied to an actuator into an electrical output. These switches are designed for high precision, presence/absence detection, where physical contact with an object is permissible and in simple on-off actions.

With an operating force of 0.18 oz to 8.78 oz, MICRO SWITCH ZM Series basic switches are designed for application flexibility. The series has three contact material choices, including silver, gold-plated silver, and silver-tin-indium oxide. In addition, engineers can choose from three termination styles (PCB, quick connect, and solder) and five actuator options (pin plunger, straight, roller, simulated roller, L-shaped). The ZM Series switches are carefully manufactured and thoroughly inspected.
