DE10-Nano Self-Balancing Robot Development Kit

Based on the Terasic DE10-Nano development board featuring the Intel SoC FPGA, this kit shows how FPGAs can be used to provide I/O interfaces customer-tailored to an application. The system uses the on-board accelerometer for balance and FPGA logic and I/O to provide motor drive, ultrasonic distance measurement, IR detection, and Bluetooth® communication. An optional camera board and FPGA design, created with the license-free Intel High-Level Synthesis (HLS) compiler, let this robot track and follow objects based on color. The possibilities for customization and experimentation are endless.
