Diodes’ automotive grade transient voltage suppressors (TVS) are packaged in a choice of SMA, SMB, or SMC packages. Designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from powerline transients generated by inductive switching, these devices target a wide range of automotive applications including pumps, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), infotainment, navigation, and ADAS. Featuring a choice of reverse stand-off voltage from 14 V to 36 V, these automotive compliant TVS are offered as unidirectional or bidirectional devices and can dissipate up to 400 W (SMA), 600 W (SMB), and 3,000 W (SMC) per 10/1,000 µs pulse transient. All devices comply with the automotive load dump standard ISO7637-2 (pulses 1, 2a, 2b, 3) and ESD standard ISO10605.
