RECOM has extended their line of reference boards to now include one for railway applications utilizing DC/DC converters up to 240 W. The R-REF04-RIA12 series is suitable for 2” x 1” quarter brick or half brick converters. It includes an external hold-up capacitor, cage clamp terminals, an isolated enable connector, and fan connectors. Also incorporated on the board is a high current EMC filter conforming to EN50121-3-2 certification.

The R-REF04-RIA12-1 can accept input voltages up to 110 V_DC nominal and input currents up to 3.8 A. The R-REF04-RIA12-2 can accept input currents up to 10 A and input voltages up to 75 V.

• R-REF04-RIA12-1 can accept input voltages up to 160 V_DC (dependent on the DC/DC converter)
