Since its introduction, MEAN WELL’s ELG family has rapidly gained positive feedback and widespread acceptance by the market due to its outstanding performance and pricing competitiveness, but it has design limitations that require output power to be de-rated at low-line input. To address this, MEAN WELL developed the ELG-100U series 100 W constant voltage + constant current LED driver. The ELG-100U can output at full power over universal input range, while still maintaining the high cost-performance ratio of the ELG family.

The ELG-100U series is designed with common wiring colors used by the US lighting industry, allowing the local fixture manufacturers to easily design-in and install the drivers. Combined with the optional feature of 3-in-1 dimming, this series can be flexibly designed into all fields of lighting applications, such as LED street lighting, bay lighting, floodlighting, and more.
