KOA Speer Electronics offers a wide range of metal plate resistors and jumpers to suit various customer needs. The TLR series comes in several sizes: TLR1E (0402); TLR2A (0805); TLR2B, TLR2BW, and TLR2BP (1206); TLR2H and TLR2HW (2010); and TLR3A, TLR3AW, TLR3AP, and TLR3APS (2512). These resistors feature a metal alloy to provide superior corrosion and heat resistance with an operating temperature of -65°C to +170°C and a small-sized surface mount type metal plate providing low resistance for current detection.
KOA Speer's TLR resistors offer high reliability and performance with TCR ranging from +50 ppm/°C to +200 ppm/°C and an ultra-low resistance range of 0.5 mΩ to 20 mΩ. Power ratings include 0.2 W, 0.5 W, 1 W, and 2 W in 1%, 2%, or 5% tolerances. This resistor series is used for voltage division, pulse applications, and current sensing. The TLR series provides excellent dimension accuracy and low height with a thickness as low as 0.25 mm and is AEC-Q200 qualified.
Used primarily for current detection, TLR current sense resistors are ideal for transportation, industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics markets in applications such as DC-to-DC power converters, power supplies, personal computing devices, tablets, motor control, and automotive electronics.
KOA also offers the TLRZ series metal plate zero-ohm jumper, available in 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1206 package sizes with current ratings of 10 A, 26 A, 31.6 A, and 50 A, respectively. The TLRZ is a low-resistance jumper offering superior corrosion and heat resistance with an operating temperature of -55°C to +170°C. TLRZ's metal plate construction provides excellent dimension accuracy and low height with a thickness as low as 0.4 mm. In addition, this jumper series has an ultra-low resistance of 0.2 mΩ and is AEC-Q200 qualified.
Used primarily for analysis in the development phase and to bypass unnecessary functional circuits, the TLRZ series jumper is ideal for transportation, industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics markets in applications such as personal computing devices, DC-to-DC conversion, automotive modules, motor control, and power supplies.
