Molex’s Contrinex 120253 series are robust, self-contained inductive sensors with an integrated IO-link. These sensors feature compact housings and a large sensing range which make them ideal for limited-space applications and challenging environments. One-piece factor-1 steel and aluminum housing provide rugged mechanical and chemical protection from extreme conditions. These robust sensors are vibration and shock resistant making them withstand harsh environments. The ASIC technology provides excellent temperature compensation (can withstand up to +230°C) and offers longer sensor life. They have a long operating distance of 40 mm and provide up to four times the operating distance than standard applications. IP67 and IP69K rated enclosures enable use in outdoor, in washdown areas, and for sea water applications. These sensors are perfect for industrial automation applications.
