Industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) devices are getting smaller and need inexpensive but superior performance antennas that operate in the 433 MHz frequency range. Molex’s compact 433 MHz ISM antenna delivers more space savings and higher radiation efficiency (>50% to >56%, 50 mm to 300 mm cable length) for its size (90.00 mm by 40.00 mm).

Wireless developers face challenges of ground plane issues when developing their 868 MHz and 915 MHz ISM applications. To overcome this, engineering resources are needed for additional circuitry, frequency tuning, and electronic component integration, which may prove costly. The 868 MHz and 915 MHz ISM antenna with MobliquA technology enables significant antenna volume reduction of up to 75% compared with conventional designs while eliminating the need for expensive circuits and frequency tuning required for the ground plane dependence issues.
