ADS8588H/ADS8598H Simultaneous-Sampling ADCs: OMO Electronic ADS8588H/ADS8598H Simultaneous-Sampling ADCs offers an integrated data acquisition (DAQ) system based on a consecutive approximation (SAR) Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). The ADS8588H/ADS8598H achieves a maximum throughput of 500kSPS per channel by simultaneously sampling all input channels. Features include a complete analog front-end for each channel with a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) plus a high input impedance of 1MΩ, a low-pass filter, an input clamp, as well as an ADC input driver. Additionally, the device has a buffer to drive the ADC through a low-drift, precision reference. The ADC is enabled to be used with a variety of host controllers using flexible digital interface supporting serial, parallel, and parallel byte communication. Using a single 5V supply the ADS85xH can be configured to accept ±10V or ±5V true bipolar inputs. The need for external driver circuits is eliminated through the high impedance allowing direct connection with sensors and transformers. The ADS8588H/ADS8598H meets the strict design requirements for many industrial automation and control applications through high performance and accuracy, along with zero-latency conversions.Learn More
