ISL8274M Dual-Channel Step-Down Power Module
Renesas / Intersil ISL8274M Dual-Channel Step-Down Power Module is a complete, digital, PMBus-enabled, DC-DC step-down advance power supply. The ISL8274M Power Module includes all the power and most passive components and only requires a few external components to operate. Using a set of optional external resistors, the designer can configure the power module for standard operation. ISL8274M's PMBus interface allows the designer to set up advanced configurations. Advanced configurations include sequencing and fault management, as well as real-time full telemetry and point-of-load monitoring. ISL8274M's non-volatile memory enables the power module to store custom configuration and settings. Optimized for high-power density applications, the ISL8274M delivers up to 30A per channel. The ISL8274M operates across a 4.5V to 14V input voltage range, provides an adjustable output voltage down to 0.6V, and achieves up to 95.5% conversion efficiency. The fully customizable voltage, current, and temperature protection scheme ensures safe operation for the ISL8274M even under abnormal conditions. With its ChargeMode™ control architecture, the ISL8274M delivers a single-clock cycle response to an output load step and supports switching frequencies up to 1.06MHz. This highly versatile power module is supported by the PowerNavigator™ software, which provides a full digital power-train development environment. Learn More
