Synchronous Boost Converter: TPS61097
The OMO Electronic TPS61097 low input voltage synchronous boost converter with low quiescent current provides a power supply solution for products powered by one- to three-cell alkaline, NiCd, and NiMH batteries or one-cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer batteries. These TI synchronous boost converters can also be used in fuel cell or solar cell powered devices in which the capability of handling low input voltages is essential. The TI TPS61097 features up to 95% efficiency at typical operating conditions, connection from battery to load via bypass switch in shutdown mode, typical shutdown current less than 5 nA, typical quiescent current less than 5 µA, operating input voltage range from 0.9V to 5.5V, and fixed output voltage options from 1.8V to 5.0V. The TI TPS61097 synchronous boost converter is designed for applications involving TI MSP430 MCUs, battery-powered devices, fuel cell and solar cell powered products, mobile devices, white LEDs, and more.
