Power Integrations LinkZero™-AX Zero Standby Consumption Integrated Off-Line Switchers combine extremely low standby/power-down energy use with the industry's lowest component count standby supply solution. These LinkZero™-AX Zero Standby Consumption Integration Off-Line Switchers offers the lowest system cost with zero standby consumption, advanced protection/safety features and are EcoSmart™ - Energy Efficient. The Power Integrations LinkZero™-AX Zero Standby Consumption Integrated Off-Line Switchers are designed to be used in isolated or non-isolated converters.
LinkZero-LP No-Load Consumption Off-Line Switcher
Power Integrations LinkZero-LP Zero No-Load Consumption Integrated Off-Line Switcher is an upgrade to the LinkSwitch-LP, the industry's lowest component count charger/adapter and standby power switcher IC. It incorporates new technology which enables the device to automatically enter into and wake up from no-load mode while taking less than 5mW from the AC power. Power Integrations LinkZero-LP Zero No-Load Consumption Integrated Off-Line Switcher comprises a 700V power MOSFET switch with a power supply controller on the same die. Unlike conventional PWM (pulse width modulation) controllers, it uses a simple ON/OFF control to regulate the output voltage. The controller consists of the following circuits: an oscillator, feedback (sense) 5.85V regulator, BYPASS pin under/overvoltage protection, over-temperature protection, frequency jittering, current limit, leading edge blanking BYPASS pin clamp in power down, and bypass mode. The controller includes a proprietary power down mode that automatically reduces standby consumption to levels that are immeasurable on most power meters.Learn more
