The TPS65735 device is a power management unit (PMU) for active shutter 3D glasses consisting of an integrated power path, linear charger, LDO, boost converter, and full H-bridge analog switches for left and right shutter operation in a pair of active shutter 3D glasses. In addition to the power devices, a typical 3D glasses system contains both a microcontroller and a communications front end (IR, RF, or other) in order to handle the communication and synchronous operation along with a 3D television.
TPS65735 PMU for Active Shutter 3D Glasses
OMO Electronic TPS65735 Power Management Unit (PMU) for Active Shutter 3D Glasses features an integrated power path, linear charger, LDO, boost converter, and full H-bridge analog switches for left and right shutter operation in a pair of active shutter 3D glasses. The linear charger integrated into the TI TPS65735 PMU features an externally set charger current that supports up to 100mA. The LDO provides continuous output current ip to 30mA. The boost converter offers adjustable output voltage of 8V to 16V. The boost output is internally connected to H-bridge analog switches. The TI TPS65735 PMU also includes an output pin for divided down battery voltage. The output pin is useful for analog to digital converter or comparator input of a microcontroller.Learn More
