TI TCA8424 Low-Voltage 128 Key I2C Interface
OMO Electronic TCA8424 Low-Voltage 128 Key Keyboard Scanner is fully compliant with the HID over I2C specification (ver 1.0) defined by Microsoft and is specifically targeted towards end equipment that runs on the Windows 8 operating system. A pre-programmed keyboard map, as well as HID and report descriptors, are hard coded into the device so no programming is needed at production. It is capable of detecting and reporting up to six simultaneous key presses plus eight modifiers and generates an input report on each key press and each key release. LED indicators on a standard keyboard (2, 4, or 8 LED outputs) are also supported.Learn More
