Vector Modulator RFICs

Analog Devices has three highly-integrated Vector Modulator RFICs which are ideal for distortion cancellation and beam-forming networks in virtually all wireless infrastructure applications including Cellular/3G and WiMAX/4G systems from 700 to 2700 MHz.

Analog Devices' high dynamic range Vector Modulator RFICs are targeted for distortion cancellation applications such as RF pre-distortion and feed-forward, as well as RF cancellation, beam forming, and amplitude/phase correction applications. The I and Q ports of the vector modulators can be used to continuously vary the phase and amplitude of a RF signal by up to 360 degrees and 40 dB respectively, while supporting a 3 dB modulation bandwidth of up to 180 MHz. The HMC630LP3E and the HMC631LP3E Vector Modulator RFICs deliver +34 dBm of input IP3 and an output noise floor of -160 dBm/Hz, which remains constant across the entire gain-control range. The HMC500LP3E delivers +33 dBm of input IP3 and an output noise of -162 dBm/Hz, which remains constant across the entire gain-control range.
