Molex’s Super-Safeway system with durable Woodhead cables is made with vulcanized rubber that is shock-resistant, non-conductive, and corrosion-proof so it holds up to chemical exposure and temperature extremes. The system has 6 inch aluminum legs that keep the electrical components off the ground, making it compliant with UL, CSA, NEC, and OSHA portable power delivery system standards for construction sites.
The portable power system is further protected by the Woodhead Safeway cable protector, a heavy-duty polyurethane package that provides protection for individual cables through a unique 5-channel design and a hinged lid that allows for easy access to the cables while also protecting them from physical damage and reducing the potential for injury. Safeway cable protectors feature a heavy-duty polyurethane construction capable of withstanding loads in excess of 16,000 pounds per tire, an exclusive non-slip tread pattern, and a 5-channel design able to accommodate up to 3.175 cm (1.625”) diameter cables.
The stackable Super-Safeway system is compact and lightweight, making it convenient to bring onsite and small enough to fit into tight spaces without compromising performance. Multiple boxes can be placed on a single feeder so the units can be transported and stored in that same configuration. The size, portability, and reliability of the Super Safeway System is the type of solution to help meet the needs in a disaster situation- quickly and safely.
To ensure a balanced AC current load between phases and reduce the risk of a power outage, power distribution boxes employ dual-identifier color-coded and numbered circuit breaker identification. UL-certified in both the U.S. and Canada, the boxes are Type 3R weather resistant for safe and reliable use in outdoor environments.
This system is intended for contractors, festival organizers, disaster relief organizations, or anywhere that portable power is needed, especially when outdoors in the elements.
