MPZ-H Series Chip Beads

TDK’s MPZ0603-H series chip beads were designed for use as noise reduction solutions in power line applications. Thanks to a newly developed technology for the internal electrodes, TDK was able to reduce the DC resistance of the MPZ0603-H series to as low as 36 mΩ, thus increasing the current rating to 1900 mA. The new chip beads offer high impedance values ranging from 22 Ω to 120 Ω at 100 MHz and feature a miniature footprint of 0.6 mm x 0.3 mm with a low insertion height of just 0.3 mm.

MPZ0603-H series chip beads utilize an S magnetic material type that features impedance characteristics similar to those of a typical ferrite core. This material is ideal for applications in which the blocking region is near 100 MHz. Impedance values within this series were selected for effectiveness at 40 MHz to 300 MHz. MPZ series chip beads are suitable for noise removal in devices such as smartphone and tablet terminals, PCs and recorders, and household appliances such as STBs, smart grids, and industrial equipment.
