STMicroelectronics' ultraminiature BALF-NRG-02J5 balun integrates both matching network and harmonics filter. Matching impedance is customized for both the BlueNRG-1 and the BlueNRG-2 Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) systems-on-chip. As a single-component solution, it simplifies RF complexity and provides optimized link budget in a footprint less than 1.2 mm² in extra low profile.
