Tensility's cable assemblies and wires are rated to +105°C for high energy use and heat resistance. The low smoke, zero halogen (LSZH) series is designed to be used in heavy duty application areas with high ambient temperatures, such as outdoor settings, manufacturing, labs, through-wall installations, and aerospace applications. In addition to being rated to 105°C, these products are chemical and abrasion resistant.
The wire in this series is UL 4384 style with two conductors and a VW-1 rating. It is available from AWG 16-24, is rated at 300 V, and has XLPE jacket material. It is available in diameters ranging from 2.5 mm to 4.8 mm and is designed to be low profile and flexible for use in confined spaces.
The cable assemblies are available in several configurations, including DC plug to stripped and tinned, 90° DC plug to stripped and tinned, plug to jack, and jack to stripped and tinned. The DC connectors available in this series are nickel-plated molding style connectors with spring contacts.
